1st to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been gambling on the internet or at land-based betting houses for a great many years. I have discovered, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are flat broke. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you are just having fun until you decide to track your losses and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you feel queasy in your stomach and the more you attempt the quicker you lose.

When you notice that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, don’t say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, trust me, this logic RARELY ever operates. Say you are betting on slot games, have an amount set aside before beginning your play. DO NOT go over that boundary, no matter how captivating. If you actually win, put that in a separate canister. Do not risk your wins no matter what. Once you have gambled through your original set limit, call it a day. Head out, regardless if it’s online or at a land-based casino, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be a different day, another time.

Keep in mind, gambling is supposed to be FUN not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot afford the loss, do not even begin.
